    @Handymans342 has been quiet lately, camper got his tongue. I would like to see the price tag on that 300.

    The CXO300 will retail for $50,000. However, users could save up to 45 percent on the lifespan of the outboard. That’s based on heavy use of 6,000 hours with an overhaul at 3,000 hours. Diesel outboards have up to three times the lifespan of their gasoline counterparts.

    Hooo! When I came across the story I posted it just to stir the pot. But $50 G's? I never imagined. I could buy two Merc Verado 300's for that and have a bunch left over.

    Likely meant for commercial users only. 6,000 hours is extremely heavy use. That is 120 years at 50/hrs per year which it closer to recreational use. Just to give it perspective.
