They make wood trim like that you can glue with an iron. Raw wood you have to stain. The glue sticks pertty good when it gets hot.

what type of sub did you go with? Single or dual voice coil? I assume 4 ohm?

I have the Wetsounds Revo 10. I'd describe it as tight, accurate bass. With my amp, it's not gonna shake the windows of nearby boats. But it sounds amazing inside the cockpit, and it will get plenty loud when asked.
