5-9" here tonight. Garden guy outside doing final leaf clean up before it's all buried. If it wasn't for shoulder surgery I'd be out there doing it.

snowed here last night left work at 4 got home at 11  usually a 45 min to a hour ride  I understand all the big decision makers were at a convention in Atlantic City and no one could authorize overtime for the plows to run  .......sounds crazy .....but thats nothing new

We had freezing rain, then 2 inches of wet, heavy snow. Power went out at 7:30PM last night and is still out. Borrowed 2 portable generators to fire up my furnace, hot water tank and fridge. It was 61* in my house this morning. They are telling us the power won’t be back on until tomorrow sometime.

@Willhound seems only 10 days ago you winterized your boat, winter came fast.

I'll say. The day I tarped it there was rain and wet snow which I didn't like, but had no choice but to cover it up. IF we get a warm spell I'll go open it up and check for damp.
And....local ski hills opened today......
