It’s 37 overall including swim platform. The boat without platform is 34. Boats with molded in swim platforms typically include the platform in the overall length but the 342 platform is bolted on so it’s not a part of the nominal length of 34

Oh ok, I was getting an another estimate for insurance the other day and it asked for the length I entered 34. Then it asked model and I entered the 342 and it automatically changed the length to 37.

My 2002 342 FV measured 38'4" from the tip on the anchor to the end of the swim platform. (I did not measure it the club did)

For docking and at least my insurance, they go by total LOA.

Its a OAL vs mfg number..  Case in point my 300vee is a 30ft..however with swim platform its 36ft

My insurance went off the HID to deem the size. For registration I said 31’ as it’s a 310 model.

I understand that pistole i just really thought it wouldn't count the swim platform. I should put a 16' board off the front then i have 50 yacht. Loa,
