Thanks for all the tips! I was able to use something similar to the spanner to actually get the cap off, but when I did, the deck plate was super corroded inside so the whole casing had to be replaced anyway. I tried taking one panel off but it wasn’t the right one, so I broke down and hired a guy at the marina to tackle it. Turns out we had to remove the fridge on deck and a board inside and we could get to it from the back. He took off the hose clamp but the plate was stuck to the hose so he had to torch it to get it off. New deck plate is on, which was the easy part, but the new plate was less than a millimeter off on the screw locations so we had to drill three new screw holes in the fiberglass to attach it! Took him about two hours but was thankful to have the help. So worth it to have pump out again!
Good luck to the others who have similar issues. Going behind the fitting was key for us, and really wasn’t too tough once we realized how and where to get to it. At least on an 05 Rinker 320, it’s through the fridge area!
