I liked Tomlin until the Jacoby Jones 'trip'. I lost all respact at that point. Those not in Pittsburgh may not know this but Joey Porter was arrested a few years ago outside a bar after a game. IIRC he was drunk and the doorman wouldn't let him in. An argument started and the police showed up. Initially he was charged with assaulting a police officer but that was dropped after the DA reviewed the video. Either way, coaches need to set a higher standard. Also, there is a bar next to Heinz Field called Tequila Cowboy. A few years ago Todd Haley got in an altercation there and was pushed down a flight of stairs. I think he was defending his wife, which is honorable, but he put himself and her in that situation. I have never been in Tequila Cowboy but been past it several times late at night and it looks like a younger crowd there. Again, coaches should be held to a higher standard. It all starts at the top. Tomlin has taken the most talented team in football and failed to make the playoffs and consistently underperformed.

I disagree about Ben. I think he is a very good QB. I would place him near 5th or so in the league. He does throw alot of picks but he throws alot of nice passes too and is very good at extending plays where others would take the sack. With a better coach he would probably have at least 4 SB rings by now.

@boatman37 Ben stinks plain and simple. Top 5? Really? Even you said "He does throw alot of picks" problem is he throws them when the game is on the line. Definitely not top 5 I dont even think he is in the top 10. He can not play on my team if I were an owner..........

some of those Steeler rumors, get around, shame they do not let people vote on coaches sometimes. big Ben has been a good QB, age is catching up with him,  last game I watched he looked tired.  but who are going to find in replacement?

Tomlin is on a very short leash right now. Upper management/the owners are getting rid of Tomlin's "buddy" coaches. He is reading the writing on the wall right now. The two that fell aren't the only ones that are going to go. I would also like to see Tomlin go. If he doesn't do something next year, he will be gone. We all know the Rooney's don't just fire coaches like other teams around the league. The do keep them beyond their useful life. Three coaches since 1969.

When I get my season ticket holder survey in the next few weeks, I know that I will be voicing my displeasure.

That leash is still way too long. They won't get rid of him this year and our window for a SB is getting much smaller, especially with all the talk about AB leaving. Much more I can say but you guys already know how I feel about him....:-)

You guys can look at this way.  If they stick with Ben for a couple more years, they'll become the "new" Browns and really suck (especially with Browns in the division and improving).  Then, they can get first round draft choice and take Trevor Lawrence! He'll fill out and at 6'6", he'll be another Big Ben, but better!
