Replacing dead Clarion stereo with new JVC head unit and remote.

I didn't want to spend much money and didn't need a "marine" stereo or a CD player. I found the JVC KD-X350BTS with Bluetooth/SiriusXM/iOS which sounds great for $70. JVC makes a marine wired remote that controls this unit, the RM-RK62M that costs $50. The problem is the JVC remote is smaller than the Clarion and the hole in the helm, so I used my old Rinker steering wheel cap to make a base for the new remote. I was able to use the Clarion wiring and the color coding was the same. A fun little project and it's great to have the music back!
