Cool new fenders

I picked up a pair of interesting new fenders to try on our little boat.  The placement of the cleats on our center console makes it tough to put fenders out.  I made some "cleats-on-a-stick" with nylon cleats and PVC that I put in the rod holders.  These guys have a built in adjustable strap.  Not sure I'd like them on the big boat.

Definitely an interesting idea.  Could work ok for adding some protection on marina pilings that you don't (or not allowed) to drill something more permanent in.  Curious how well they would stay attached to your cleats and in proper position.
