New Goodyear Endurance trailer tires.

USA made - one of the few, if only ST tires made in the states. Put Marathons on my last trailer. They were excellent.

Sailuns are highly rated in the RV world even though they are made in China.

Goodyear Endurance Radials

This radial ply tire from Goodyear is constructed with double steel belts and triple polyester cords for increased durability. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation and an inner liner made out of halobutyl rubber reduces air loss.

I don't run ST tires anymore - they don't last. I run LT tires, properly rated for load, properly inflated, and with all metal valve stems (not rubber - I've burned through $1k in tires thanks to a single $1.99 valve stem failure).

Many heavy RV's come new from the manufacturer with LT tires today because they hold up much better than ST tires. And if you use ST tires - remember they are ALL rated for just 65MPH. I saw a study that showed an increase in speed of 5 MPH on ST tires increased the chance of blowout 44% - can't find that now naturally - I should really save that stuff to Google Drive for sharing.

I'll probably try these new USA built Goodyears. 225/75/15

E load rating = 2,830 lbs per tire
80 PSI

(you should see the crap ST's I'm replacing.)

After a lot of research I think I will be changing to 19.5 inch tires

I can tell you first hand that 19.5" tires are really rough riding. I have 225/70R19.5's on my F450.

I replaced my regular nitto tires with Endurance and I noticed a huge difference in ride quality and handling. These Goodyear tires seem to help my trailer sway less also.

Glad to hear. They look pretty robust. After I get the boat launched ~ new Endurance tires are on the list.

Finally got the G/Y Endurance tires on. E-rated, 80PSI, 2,830 lbs. Tows perfectly. Time will tell.

I Dunno. I had a Heritage trailer for our 2007 246 Captiva, painted black to match our hull. It was always kept in a climate controlled building, all seasons, washed, wiped down, and still in spots, a little rust starting to bubble here & there. Plus, the inner fenders were cheap plywood covered with carpet. Guaranteed to ROT! I replaced them with an aluminum/plastic composite, which was a huge improvement. I think that triple axle aluminum trailer looks pretty darn sweet, and it would be lighter too.
