@rasbury if you look close at the pic it's a plastic bag snowman filled with scrap wood. Nice idea for a community spring non fire! Edit: looks more environmentally friendly than plastic. Some kind of cloth bags?
@rasbury - I'm not sure what it was covered with looked like a cloth of some sort...but I'm sure friendly. They also had some black cats in it for added fun.
I wish it was that easy to get rid of Winter. I thought we were rounding the corner this weekend, but nooooooo. I still have ice fisherman in the canal out back.
Yep, spring brake in FL and barely hitting 70 this week...I know that's pretty good by comparison but feel bad for the little drunks running around with no beach weather...
I lived through Spring Break in Fort Lauderdale. The worst year was 1979. The USS Enterprise was in Port Everglades for liberty. So we had 5,000 sailors on top of the normal spring breakers. They had people climbing light poles and shaking them till they broke, jumping out of upper hotel windows into the pools below and all kinds of mayhem. Maybe the cooler weather will help them behave better.
