We cruise the Mississippi north of St Louis, the cellular coverage is very spotty, I have read about many different ways to boost or amplify the signal, does anyone have a recommendation for a 08 400 EC setup??
Thank guys👍

I've used "portable" cell boosters in the past.  These consisted of a small mag mount antenna that could be set up on the arch and a powered handset holder.  Might look in that direction and see if there is anything like that on the market before going for a permanent solution.

It’s really all about what service is available in a given area and if roaming is covered

I have a hotspot with an external magnetic antenna that I use, get's an ok signal and rebroadcasts as Wi-Fi. The biggest thing is research - figure out your service provider vs the service available in the area - if there's signal you can get an antenna positioned to receive it - that's a guarantee. Might check nearby for wifi - a 2.4ghz yagi could give you a decent internet connection from a mile or more off.

Don’t phone providers offer some boosters where their signal is low? Mainly for those in houses where cell signal is low and I think drops to a local Wi-Fi but that may be an option too. They want you to use data for revenue ....

The providers vary and the signal can be nonexistent as you travel between St Louis and Quincy on the Mississippi. Considering this system, decent reviews online.

For that kind of money I'd stay disconnected.

In that case a booster is of little value if it has nothing to boost. I agree with @Stodge
