After seeing all of the rave reviews from you guys, I finally broke the lock off the wallet and bought one.... now to lose 30lbs in the next 2 weeks so I can fit in the engine bay and install it.

Had to change the impeller before the start of this season and I noticed some scoring... preventative.

For em it was get a nice padded blanket and drape over the engine, feel first and hang down. I am not a big fat ba$**** nor beanpole but I wasn't fitting in down there to change these out.

looks nice! if you don't have a genny down there is should be have a seat on the tank and go to work...if you have what I have, well better lay off the beer for a few weeks! I kept my brass one and went with the SS top and bottom inserts and so far that has worked for me as long as I don't do something stupid.....

My pumps where not scored bad at all 350 hours but the front seal was leaking getting the back of the pulley wet. I also changed the ldler wheel that was stuck on the bushing.

You can get the pump with an installed pulley.

I ordered the pump directly from Hardin and they had the option with or without the pump.

I don't remember that option when I ordered my pump a few years ago. If it was, I missed it. The install is much easier with the pulley installed.

The install is much easier when you install the gasket and back-plate on correctly before completely reinstalling it... ask me how I know this!! Ugh

Yes gasket and plate, should only one way the ports are different sizes ask me how i know. Put both of mine on yesterday. Yes gasket to the old pump backing. And grind off the numb so you don't have to remove the fuel pump. I took out the stud and pulled the pump striat forward. 10mm ratchet wrench remove the front and left the back hook to the hoses. Today is glaps and drives back on. Yippie

Very nice Diggin!  I have one without the pulley &  the other was a purchase of the OEM before I heard about hardin.  I changed impellers out of both and noticed some scoring on the OEM one.  Looks like that one will be getting replaced in two years with the hardin (& probably the pulley too).  I will say that the hardin impeller is different than the OEM, for those that are wondering.
