Retractable screen repair

Has anybody repaired/replaced the screen in the retractable shade/screen hatch covers inside the cabin?  I've got a couple rips in the screen and would like to avoid bugs.

    I believe that is just a screw on accessory from Bomar.

    The assembly with the shades in it has OceanAir all over it.  They were taken over by Dometic.  I've pulled the shades down they don't look to be easily repairable.  I have a feeling the options will be limited to live with it, needle and thread, or replace the whole thing.
