Is the cockpit refrigerator stay on all the time if you are usin dc power

    If you turn off the switch on the AC side of the board, then yes it will automatically switch itself to DC power. If you turn off the main DC switch at the top of the DC side of panel, it will lose power unless the AC switch is on. If you want to leave the DC switch on but turn the fridge off, you need to turn it off with the knob inside the fridge.

    Exactly, the only way to turn it off completely is to open the door and switch off the thermostat, by turning it to (or past) 0.  You'll feel the click off.

    And you should do that from time to time just to keep it working properly. The humidity in the fridge will make them difficult to turn after a while. Had a heck of a time getting mine unstuck last year.  Pliers and lots of WD40.

    My 2003 342 had a DC only cockpit frig. Even though I had the AC breaker for the frig. I added the AC/DC power converter (no longer available). Just an FYI.

    Agree, I try to turn my fridges off and let them thaw two or three times a summer
