Removal of holding tank pump out hose

I recently replaced the holding tank pipe from head through to tank on our 2003 310 - after 16 years when it gets hot that side, there is a scent so likely from permeated hose. The deed is done but to finish the job I wanted to replace the pump out section from tank to the port and thought to simply remove 3 screws, disconnect from tank and pull it out.
It appears that the port is double clamped but they only cut out the hole for the pump out port round for the insert, no notch for clamps so they must have fitted this before anything went in, including the firewall as it's way up in the gunwale void space so even without an engine and tank in the way I am not sure I'd reach it.
Anyone ever changed this, had this challenge and resolved? If so, tell me how you did it - or loan me your small child that can get up in there to undo the clamps....
