Cockpit faucet not working

Hi all,

My faucet isn’t working. Any idea where the pump to that is or what it’s connected to?

Thanks,

Your galley and head sink and shower and transom shower are all supplied by a pressure switch activated pump, usually located on the firewall of the engine compartment and supplied by your fresh water tank. Power to the pump is controlled by a switch marked "Galley Pump" or some such at the helm. With battery switch on and pump switch on the pump should start automatically when you open the faucet. If it does not, check the fuses and connections. But be careful, the pump will run even without water in the system and if run dry long enough will burn out the pump.
If your tank is dry and pump hasn't been run yet this spring it may require priming by simply pulling the feed line off and running water into the pump and lines.

Remove the aerator and check that - they clog after winter layup frequently. I have the threads/dimensions for all three sizes on my 280 in a photo somewhere if needed.
