Magnet Fishing

I came across this on YouTube, curious to see if I pull anything up. I bought a 500 lb. rated double sided magnet on Amazon and tied a rope to it. It’s amazing what I’ve seen people pull up!

    Yea, not doing it for $$, just to pass time out on the hook and the dock. Will probably pull up some anchors and tools. But you never know!

    If you could pull up an anchor with that thing it would be amazing!  Every now and then when we drop a tool, our little magnetic on a fishing pool will get it.

    We have dock parties that do this for fun. Strange items pulled up over the years. We donate the scrap metal money to charity. Had over 700# of metal one year.

    I've seen someone recover a gas driven jet-wash from the bottom of the marina with one of those. Tempted to get one myself.
