Made it to Block Island

The admiral and I (along with my brother and his wife on board) took our 270 from Portsmouth RI to Block Island for the weekend.  It was about 45 miles and took us a little over 2 hours. We followed some friends in their Albin 28 and had a relatively easy trip across the sound. Stayed at Payne’s dock Saturday night and had a blast. Boy do they squeeze the boats in there!  Maneuvered in between two big sports fishing boats no problem with the help of the wind and the dock hands. Fun trip and the boat ran great! More adventures to follow now that we ventured that far. 4 people on a 270 is tight but we did fine sleeping one night.

Sweet! @luvinlife that's a huge swim platform for a 270. Where did it come from and do you have any issues with It?

Willhound, the platform was on the boat when I bought it in 2016. I always thought it was stock, I will need to research a bit.   It also has dinghy davits and a 4 step ladder.
