  Leave the IAC muffler out. The mechanic that changed my IAC valve and said they go bad because of the muffler getting dirty and plugged.

  My thoughts exactly.  Better idea is to regularly change the filter rather than ingesting junk.  There's a filter there for a reason.

  So would my 2 little filters stacked together be as good as the longer single one?
