Newbie fiberglass repair help

MiamiAGMiamiAG Member Posts: 210 ✭✭
Hi all,

I have a couple of small holes that developed on the vertical side of my step down into the cabin (2013 290ec). Something must have hit there and opened up a couple of about a quarter inch holes. They are way to small to make it worthwhile for a professional to come out to fix so I want to try to do it myself. The problem is I have never done any fiberglass repair work.

Does anyone have a link to anything that can teach me how to go about fixing these holes?

I appreciate it.

Do a search on "Spectrum Gel Coat Patch Paste". Very easy to use and can be colour matched to your gel coat. If you use the search function at the top of the forum page there are a couple of good threads showing how to apply and the results.

Here is also a really good video. It looks complicated but really isn't and produces professional results.
