    Here's a pretty Rinker with a pretty background -- the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Memorial.  

    My buddy took this shot as we motored home after a beautiful day at anchor above Georgetown.  The Washington Memorial still has construction scaffolding from the recently-completed repair project..

    Thanks Mike. What you do not see is that there is a 44' boat right in front of me. I have a harder time getting out of my spot than getting in. We also have a very strong current at the club. Cant wait for summer. Getting 14" of snow Thursday and Friday.

    Stay warm my friend. Your season is coming when the biggest problem might only be docking in a wierd current instead of driving on icey roads. :D

    I like the look of the forward facing arch better, but the rear facing has a big plus - no slant back canvas. The full 8' or so height for the entire cockpit is nice without having to put up additional bimini poles.

    See, and I thought it was just the opposite.  It seems like there are less poles and straps on the forward facing ones, but it will always come down to whatever each person likes, or of course owns.  I like the bimini connecting to the arch, where I know some like the ones that go under the arch.  Each has it advantages.  Some people also use cockpit covers after each use, where as I only use it over the winter, and the enclosure is used all April to November long.  Of course, the windows are removed when it is nice, but I never retract the bimini to get sun.  I have had enough of it over the years and when I am swimming.

    Yeah, I like it forward as well, but thought it was initially strange till I owned one(310). I also left the full enclosure up and only retracted the bikini once in a great while at night to look at the stars while sleeping in the back(usually just sat on bow instead). Gotta say, hard top is awesome and now I rarely use eisenglass. I typically put up a black canvas in place of it when not in use.
