Well, I got my best fuel burn (mpg) with my 310 at around 32-33mph, using a fuel flow. Only speed that was better was non-planing speed. I also get the same with my 400. She likes to run a bit faster, or really slow.
Hi,
I am just putting up a chart for my own use with numbers that I found on certain websites. Some of the numbers specially the range for 150 gallons of fuel. I wondering how they came to that figure I guest in some instances they left some fuel provisions so not to ran the thanks empty. Can anybody explain how to calculate that. The 3 figures that are on the chart for range are from Boat test.com. And I would like to fill the rest of the chart.
Thanks
Paul
How many HP are your diesels? I knew they were typically slower than gassers, but I didnt think that much. That is pretty awesome usage for such a large boat.

The 'Results' Tab has MPG information. Looks like 3500-4k rpm and around 30mph is best MPG, and low/mid 20's GPH.
KIDDING!!!
That's amazing fuel usage for such a big boat. What's your avg mpg?
