12V DC to EMC (??)

OK, time for another possibly dumb question. I have a 2000 Fiesta Vee 340. I'm looking to replace the toilet. It has a Jabso 37245-0012 12V DC, which they no longer make. The replacement is a JA 37245-0092 12V EMC. What is the difference between DC and EMC, and does it mean I will have to redo all of the wiring? Also, I know the base can be swiveled, but it looks like the pump fittings are completely different.

    Hi, . ... *ECM certification indicates compliance with international standards for electric motor of all kinds, so you would not need to change any wirings unless specified in the instructions. Good luck. Paul
