  You won't regret it.  I have the 1240P.  It was soaked multiple times by a faulty freshwater pump.  After fixing the problem and thoroughly drying out the charger, it has been working perfectly ever since. And for the record, it's a dry mount charger, not waterproof.  Can't say enough good things about it.
