fridge tripping breaker

just started saturday afternoon when we docked connected shore power
flipped all my right side on =
battery charger
outlet
air conditioner
refrigerator
when flip on fridge it trips everything 
reset
same thing
checked all my shore power connections = good

i try on gen power = tripping

leave turned  off = staying cold and seems to be working

thoughts from the most esteemed rinker people of the world and the most essential of all  = sir handy

    Could be the inverter on the back of the fridge. So 12 volt works then 120 volts trip.

    As per @reneechris14 if you mean you have a convertible 110v/12v and it's tripping the breaker on 110 but working on 12 then I would either suspect a bad inverter or a dead short where a wire on the 110 feed has shook loose and is grounding out. In reality the compressor on all the 110/12 fridges is 12v, just with an added inverter on the fridge controller. Handy or someone could prove me wrong but I don't think there are true dual voltage compressors. 
    From your statements it sounds like the fridge is not only kicking out it's own breaker, but also the main? If that's the case I'd lean more towards dead short.
    So you could use it in the meantime on 12v, but I'd want to block off that 110 breaker so nobody switches it on until you investigate.

    The frig should have a 120VAC plug/outlet. Pull the plug and see if the breaker trips still. Depending on your boat/frig age you might not be able to just buy the power board anymore.
