2007 Rinker Fiesta Vee 270 Hatch lift motor suddenly died

The hatch went up fine then when I went to lower it nothing.

    Got a voltmeter? Start checking power at switch and lift also check if there is a fuse or breaker. It could be bad but better to check before buying parts.
