All new stereo.  JL head unit, amps and speakers.  Really like the zoning capability.  Cabin / Cockpit / Radar Arch / Subs.

    i will get some pics of the controls posted.  new Jl head unit in the cabin.  full display control at the helm and a small round control at the aft.  I hired a pro to do the install.  Glad i did.

    in the aft cabin behind the interior panel on the starboard side.  there is fairly large cavity there.

    yea.  in case you didnt know it the fuel tank is right there also.  dont start drilling in that direction.  LOL

    Hey red how do you like the arch JL pod speakers? I have the factory mounting blanks up on our arch. Thinking of getting 2 of the bigger JL ones.

    It looks like JL paid you to show off that install job.  Very clean work.  I bet it sounds great to boot.


    Are those free air aka infinite baffle subs in pic 4?

    I really like the speakers.  These are the 8.8 model with the led lighting.  No place on the back of my boat to mount speakers for sound when you are in the water.

    i am a JL Audio dealer for home product.  with that line i also get access to the marine product.  Yes they are infinite baffle subs.

    plenty good for me.  Overall the system will play very loud and great sound quality.  Really like the zoning capability of the JL Head.  I can now play the cabin alone without the cockpit and visa versa.

    Those JL IB subs really are impressive. I almost went with a pair of M12IB6 subs, but decided to go with the 12W6s because I had both the room and power, but those IB6s are very impressive for a IB sub.

    I’ll probably try those 8.8 JL’s. 
    Got the same issue with nowhere to mount any speakers on the transom. Our 276BR had Kickers facing the swim platform. Worked well.
    New boat not so well for tunes off the swim platform.
