So the spec sheet says the average weight is 14,280 lbs.  235 gallons of fuel at 6.3 gal per is 1480 lbs. That leaves 740 lbs of mama's crap.

I probably have more just in my stuff and as long as its mama's stuff and not mama that weighs 740lbs you are golden.

The spec sheet is probably for basic options. Maybe no AC and smaller engines or whatever else was missing in a base model.

Not just the motors. Diesel is just under 7lbs a gallon.

Washington State or DC? If it's state then sell it and buy another in Florida. Either way that is a long trip for a boat that size.

The radar and anchor lighr has to be flipped under the arch to make it under 13,6 other then that should haul just fine.

Washington state. They are putting it on a trailer. That’s all I know

The fuel costs are still down considerably in my area.  I'm also assuming he knows the service history of his boat.  What would the shipping cost on a boat that size run vs a good mechanical and boat survey?

Wow I can’t imaging paying a hauler from Washington to Florida but to each their own. He can sell it for bigger money in WA and buy cheap in FL

We used to ship boats all over the country. Heck all over the world.  I think the furthest was to Australia. Many cruisers went down under
How did you prep a boat to be shipped overseas?  Was it shipped on a giant pallet with drives removed?

I've heard of them being shipped like automobiles, fork lifted into shipping containers on trailers or cradles.
