water heater replacement options for 312

Hi I  am a proud new owner of 2003 312. It needs a water. Attwood 93757 is  no longer available. Does anyone have a alternative number.

    Is it just not heating, or is the entire unit corroded?  If it's just not heating, you may only need to buy a new heating element.

    The 6 gallon 110 units can be had for about 350 up with the heat exchanger.  Your hoses may need replacment to fit new heater fittings.  Walmart.com, eBay and Amazon have a few to choose from. 

    I am considering ditching the one i currently have with a tankless 110.  Ill have to run the genny to shower and it's only going to raise temps by 20 or so degrees.  That's fine as all summer long the air and water temps are 85 plus highs and 70 plus low.  These are not ignition protected so not got gas powered boats. I'm diesel so I don't think i have much of anything ignition protected.

    The original owner said is was leaking and cracked  ,but thanks. I was worried about mounting holes and size for a new one to fit. We are gas. I am hoping to find one for next season

    The dimensions should be listed in the specs of whatever model you are looking at. So long as it fits in your space I wouldn't worry about the screw hole alignment for mounts.  Be sure to fill in the old holes and properly seal the new ones with butyl tape or 5200 or life calk etc of your choice....no sillycone.  Most of the time on fiberglass boats its wood under that thin fiberglass where the batteries and water tank mount. 
    Many times old holes are stripped or are prone to strip so new hardware and fresh holes are usually good thing so it gets a good bite.  If the holes do align id probably use one size up diameter up screws for added bite.  Don't want that heavy tank bouncing free!!

    Understood, thanks again. I have not located it yet so I am not sure of the capacity. I do believe the generic manual gives some info but not capacity or dimensions but drilling new locations doesn't sound so bad now.

    On my 342 i went with a KUUMA 6 gal water heater.     The kuuma is what I'm looking at if I go back with a marine hwh.  They by far have the best price I've seen.

    I dont think the swap is hard but these little guys are deceivingly heavy

    Not sure if its the same but this is what’s in my 2003 310 which was the model the 312 replaced. Pretty similar

    Thanks. I called on the atwood and it was more than the link 550 vs 320. I do need to measure old one before I look into the Kuuma.
