Outdrive Knock

Rinker 342. Twin 6.2 mercruises. 2002 model. Bravo 3 outdrive.

Had a knock on the port side, very faint, replaced ujoints, no issues on that side now. Prior, no issues on starboard.... When put back into the water, starboard started to knock VERY loud when turning over 3/4 either direction, whether in gear or neutral. Replaced gimbal bearing on that side and all u joints, aligned engine as it was out of alignment....STILL knocking....im at a loss, what could it be? Any thoughts.
