    My 280 was about $1200 usd for cockpit and swim deck. 

    That $40 a square foot probably accounts for the waste they will have. I can't remember the sheet size but they use most of it since they cut small pieces to fit the area and lay it out on a cnc machine.

    I don't know, but I'd count on $2500 for the cockpit, plus another $200 for materials and tools.

    LR have you looked in to Flexiteek? It has more of a wood grain to it. I have the old version of it but they have something new and much better but still as durable. Could be worth looking in to:

    Aqua Aura - that does look a lot better. Agreed.
    I'm still on the fence as to whether I'd buck up & do permanent flooring again.....

    I've started into a $5K stereo upgrade for this season. I tend to justify boat expenses one season at a time. (except for the balloon payment when I twofoot it upsize)

    LaRea - I meant to tell you that if you are looking purely at durability - that PlasDeck is crazy tough. I used Starbrite deck cleaner on it all the time - no issues.
    The coloring runs all the way thru the product. Scuffs & cuts can be blended back in.

    The EVA foam products wouldn't be as resilient, but they are more comfortable on the feet.

    @MarkB we do have a port side plug we use now. I don't know why I only used that aft plug for the first 2 years. 🤦

    @06Rinker270 we haven't decided.  Probably just get carpets, but I've been focused on finishing the engine room and engines, plus the basement at home.

    Snap-In carpet in the cockpit.  Water beads up on it.  Sea-Deck on the swim platform.  Snap-In does get hot.  Carpet before got hot as well.

    I have the grey SeaDek on my 342. Even on the hot days it is fine with bare feet. Beats the carpet I had, easy to clean.

    @LaRea I think carpet is a good way, most likely the the route we will go.

    @06Rinker270  We ordered it from Snap-In carpet.  They sent us a template and I checked the measurements.  Sent it back and I think within two weeks we had our carpet.  I borrowed a snap tool from a friend of mine.  I like it because the water beads up.  Carpet would absorb and would be wet all weekend.  Not this material.

    I have Aqutraction. I love it. The only problem was mice love it too. Over last winter when under shrink wrap, the mice made a home and chewed a section. Had that replace. Looks good as new

    I'm always late to the party, but my MarineMat was ordered directly through Rinker, (They had all the templates).  Probably nothing to see here that other manufactures can't or don't offer, but I will say this much....Mine is "snap-in"  and not direct apply.  So it is SUPER EASY to take out and clean it with a power washer and let dry in the sun. (not an option in a hard top boat)    The backing on this is similar to the "white" backing on a good marine carpet. So I'm thinking it's not the same as the peel and stick they also offer.  3 years now and it still looks new !
