Rinker Engine Cover Re-insulating project.

I had posted on this forum looking for advice on re-insulating and sound proofing the engine cover on my 96 Rinker 212.   

Project went well, just a few pieces left to put on.  Thought I'd post some pics.  I've also applied the Noico red 8mm sound insulation. 

Have to tell you, this sucker has doubled in weight.  Not sure how I'm going to get it back into the boat.   Good thing I have a young strong neighbour.

    Looks really good! Thanks for posting. I did this to my dads engine room in his sailboat years ago and it makes a huge difference..... but man working with that lead layered insulation is not a joy.

    You're right about that..not a joy.  Should have worn gloves! hands are a mess, and a blood trail all the way to the medical kit!
