Finished up wrapping the 310... I did it myself.. turned out pretty good..not perfect but it was DIY and i saved a boat load doing it myself
3m 2080 wrap -boat blue

Total cost - about $700

    That does look nice.  That's less than the cost of having somebody compound and wax.  How difficult was it, and how long did it take?

    Looks good. Did you basically roll it horizontally from front to back so that you had full coverage from top to bottom without seams? And how did you handle any seams?

    I did it all myself. Just had some help from the wife when I unrolled the film and taped it in place to begin. The first side took me 3 whole days. the second side i did in a day.  Its very forgiving stuff. You really cant mess it up if you take your time. There is a seam along the bow and a couple of seams under the swim platform. All seams get sealed with seam sealer. Theyre really not noticable until you are right next to them.

    It would be 100% impossible to not have a seam in the front.

    The roll i bought was 5' X 75'

    Very cool.  I have a friend that wraps cars for a living.  He would likely be grinning to say he wrapped a boat.

    I pull it with an f350 diesel, you can see it in the reflection in the last pic... I use to put oversize load signs on but i dont really ever pull it far... usually 25miles to and from the lake once a year... every couple of yrs ill pull it over to lake michigan for a week trip... 45miles. Ive never been bothered by LEO
