Paper Towel holder

I’ve been looking for a new paper towel holder for the cockpit sink area. We had a stand up stainless one but it took up counter space and it started to rust. I’m thinking plastic now. I found this one but is it worth $70.00 ?? What do you guys use?

Sorry I’m 2 for 2, or 0 for 2. I wouldn’t mount a paper towel holder outside either. I’ve considered mounting one in the galley but have not got that far yet.

@Liberty44140 , the link above is a suction cup. We have one in the cabin that’s stuck on that can be easily removed, works really well.

You can see where I mounted it under the cabinet above the sink.

I have the same one as @YYZRC. Used the 3M removable velcro to mount. Works great.

Sorry I just realized you're talking about the cockpit sink!

I would get a wall mount one and mount it to the access panel for the arch bolts.

@YYZRC , that’s a good idea but I don’t want to block my custom arch plates from @diggin2day1 .

Aero I really like that galley paper towel and spice holder! Does the silverware stay in place or would it fall everywhere under way?

You could make a plain one out of starboard to replace that side only!

@Liberty44140 with the plastic utensils they stay in place. We tried metal utensils and they did fall in rough water but stay when it’s a comfortable ride. We try to remember to take the block down when underway because we stayed with the metal utensils.

I broke the arm for my SeaSucker paper towel holder the day I pulled the boat out. Was pi$$ed knowing how expensive it was! I have @diggin2day1 making me a new arm out of white starboard.

Yes, it stayed stuck all summer. I did notice that the orange on the pump was showing a couple of times but still held suction. I would just give it a couple of pumps when needed.

@aero3113 just reread your full post. Are you saying the one in the cabin is suction cup too. Do you still have link?

@Spyderweb , the one in the cabin is held on with a plastic sticky piece of plastic. It’s held on really well and if needed I’m sure it will peel right off with no issues. I did have to tie wrap the utensil holder on to prevent it from falling in rough water. I’ll see if I can find a link to it. I think it was from Amazon.

@Spyderweb here’s the paper towel holder. I’m thinking my wife bought the utensil holder separate. I’ll ask her later.
