Summer got shut down for us!

My summer got shut down yesterday after my beautiful  dog Rocky has his CCL destroy playing with his ball in the back yard of the house. He has to have a TPLO surgery on his knee next week and his recovery is about 8 to 12 week of relaxing time at home, But who care it, FAMILY FIRST. Going home after our vet visited today the The crews

Hopefully he will have a good recovery. Our 14 year old gal has severe hip dysplasia so she doesn't go to the boat any longer. Furry friends are sometimes the best friends.

Sorry to hear Oscar. We went thru the same with our dog about 5 years ago. The recovery was much better than we anticipated.

I feel for you. I have gone through that surgery three times. The hard part is really the first 3 weeks.

@oscar1 ask your vet about Cosequin.  We had a boxer who had a similar injury.  Later in life, when she started slowing down, daily Cosequin pills made a huge difference for her.

Your dogs are beautiful ... great to see that you treat them like rock stars.

Cosequin is a great drug for dogs, and it is an over-the-counter med. So if your vet approves, get it a Costco or Chewy. Much cheaper than what your vet will charge.
