vee berth mattress

Does anyone have a template or measurements for a 2006 342 FV vee berth mattress. Admiral wants new one and bedding.

    it's best to take it out and put it out on a tarp and do the geometric measurements. I just had to make a topper for our FV 360 vberth and I know those mattresses are like a Picasso painting in shape. I assume all are the same cut, but the measurements are going to be a series of strange shapes to cover all the angles - not to mention curved parts.

    @echandler1971 I contacted a Toronto based custom bedding shop and they're sending a kit to make a template. I didn't realise that the bottom of the mattress is smaller than the top due to the angle of the hull sides.

    On mine, I have 2 beveled sides and one rounded and beveled side. Would be a nightmare to explain to a mattress maker short of just giving them the old one to duplicate one on top of the other.

    They have a template for a 2005 342 FV but want to be sure it's the same as a 2006

    @YYZRC, I first used the contact e-mail on the website and didn't get an answer so I phoned and they apologized, took the details and sent the kit. I think Linda is on vacation until August 8.

    Thanks @Grahamu. I also tried calling and got no answer. I’m sure they’re very busy. My foam is ok but I modified the berth shape and need new covers. Let us know what you think of their work!
