Can you provide a little more info?

    What model genny?  (kohler?, 5E?)

    What is it doing?
    Does it crank?
    Does it try to start?

I'm guessing it's a Kohler 5ECD, same as I have.  What you're seeing is probably the hour meter ... 222 hours on the engine.  What happens when you try to start it?

Are you trying to start it from the generator itself or from the remote start on the breaker panel? Make sure the switch on the genny is set to “auto”

Try starting it from the generator. The remote start may be broken

I did do that and nothing happens the red light above the start button on the breaker panel  lights and then turns off when I hold it down.

The fuses are the push while turning and then it pops out.

Yes, that does sound like a fuse.  There are 7 glass fuses on the front panel of the generator.  Remove each one and test it with a multi-meter.  Then make sure it's fully inserted and tight in the holder.

Had same problem beginning of season.  Replacing bad fuse fixed it.  But do as @LaRea says, check with multimeter.  The glass in each fuse is opaque white.  It is not always obvious it is blown.  My mechanic thought that was a dumb idea of Kohler.  He gave up after checking the 1st 2.  I ended up finding the bad one the next day.

Seems like a lot of people with Kohler generators 10-15 years old are having problems with the fuses.
