    Any suggestions for getting medium size dogs to go down the leaning tower of Pisa (aka the cabin steps)?

    Ours 65 lb dog was really hesitant going down and up at first. Wife and I both went below while dog whined at hatch. I stood beside steps and put my hand on her side. That calmed her down enough to try. Same thing going back up. It took her a few times to get comfortable, but it's second nature now. We also added a non-slip doormat at the bottom to keep her from sliding on the wood.

    It is with a heavy heart that we have to pass along this unfortunate news. Sadly, Zoe passed away in her sleep last night. She was our first baby and best friend. We know the memories we have of her will be with us for the rest of our lives. And although we are shattered at her loss, we feel comforted in knowing that, at almost 15 years old, she had a full life with a family who loved her dearly.

    She’s the one that started this thread, I will post her pics from years ago and one from last season. We had everything ready to take on the boat today for her to join us but she knew it was her time. I wish she could’ve taken one last ride with us 😔🥲⚓️.

    Sorry for your loss 😒. It has been a year since we lost our dog and we still feel him in spirit on our boat, those memories will never leave.
