Howdy - Just bought a 1998 Fiesta Vee 266 this week, just joined the forum tonight. Wanted to say hi...
Southern Chesapeake Bay is home. Gonna be wandering around on this site a bit looking for whatever I can find ...

    Thank everyone for the welcome...

    Dream Inn, right now it's at Fort Monroe, but I'll be shifting it over to the Air Force base in Hampton - significantly cheaper and, as it's on the base, only a small percentage of folks have access to the marina there. Well protected, also, and since there's no trailer I'll have to be leaving it in the water... protection is important. Can't go down to get it if there's a storm comin' in...

    When in doubt do what @Handymans342 would do, sell your boat and buy an rv! 

    I kid.  It's worked for him but id miss the water very quickly

    My parents love their RV. They are very very old. Very very old people love RVs. Very very old people also drive very very slow because they have nowhere to be and they like to inconvenience the “youngens”.

    @Grahamu I’m not sure there is a firm number, but in general very very old people cannot handle big steps (like boarding a vessel) and often drive Buicks. They also complain a lot and love to reference “the good old days”.

    I am in my 81st year and don't fit any of your parameters but some "youngens" do bug the $hit out of me on the highways when I'm driving at 20 K over the limit and they tailgate me.
