    Well she passed mech inspection. Gonna have a couple minor things addressed and close on the boat and it will be mine, 2004 270 350 mag B3

    with trailer, $28k. Might have paid a little too much, but boat is in very good shape and equipped just how I wanted it.

    @glenncal1 , I think you did pretty good. I would say that’s around what there’re going for these days but you got the trailer also.

    Nice shape. You did very well at 28 G's with a trailer. I got that for my 2000 model with no trailer. Carpet's and canvas only had a year or so left in them too.

    As in FL Port Charlotte?? My favorite boating area...Cayo Costa is a great place....upper captiva island, boca grande.....awesome boating area!

    Ran the boat in beautiful weather today. Got Vessel View Mobile hooked up. Max RPM's about 4800, speed about 37-8 mph. Didn't spend much time up there because I won't be running up there. 4000 rpms=30 mph and 16 gph. What was nice to find was that between about 3200 and 4000 rpm mpg was always around 2mpg (some minor variations but no standouts up or down). So depending on sea conditions I can cruise at a speed in that range that is comfortable and not worry that I am killing myself on gas. If your engine supports Vessel View Mobile (generally Merc's from ~2003 and newer) it is a great add-on IMHO

    I did a bunch of VVM captures and put into a spreadsheet that can give you theoretical output as to range based on distance, speed and GPH. Good for a guide to optimum running, eg I could ease up and spend 10 hours getting to NYC vs 6 for another 3 gallons.

    Those are some GREAT speed numbers. What motor and props again??

    I would say that is the performance of mine without all the fancy stuff to figure it out...22.5Pitch props are what I think I have...same motor and bravo III
