Hydraulic Dinghy Lift - Anyone?

I was mostly happy with my Hurley H2O davits for my 9' dinghy and 9.9hp, but I've ordered a Spark and I want to live the easy life with a hydraulic lift.  I think I can fashion a hydraulic setup for not much more money than a Hurley H3O+.

Tough to find options for a hydraulic lift that works with such a narrow beam + outdrives.  So far the best option I've found is "The Dinghy Davit".  It's about $7,000.

Has anyone installed a hydraulic lift on their Rinker?

Thanks

@Black_Diamond did you find a deal on your H3O? I think I’m going to go with the H3O+

@YYZRC , If your model had a separate swim platform, a hydraulic platform would’ve been awesome!

Yeah no kidding! I really want hydraulic but I just don’t have the time to design what I think can work. All of the systems on the market have big trade offs. At least this H3O+ is turn key and will work with the Spark and my dinghy, whichever I decide to bring along.

@YYZRC. The H3O I had was great for the AB RIB/9.9 engine.

Alswagg had noted on here before the swim platforms on the Rinkers were not made to hold the weight of a Spark / jetski.  I think that will be your biggest challenge, unless you do a lot of reinforcing.  Those swim platforms are just fiberglass over a foam core.

The extra weight on the stern will be a bugger for getting on plane….you could counterweight it at the bow with lead.  I did that on my 342. 😁

@Black_Diamond did you buy direct from Hurley or did you order from a dealer?

Right from Hurley.  They were great to deal with.

    Speaking of Hurley.

I went "squirrelly in Hurley" (WIS) on a snowmobile trip once.....not good.
