AC Return Vent Cover

in Rinker Express Cruisers Forum
Any idea how to remove the cover shown.  It has no screws and when I try to pull it, something is holding it such that continuing to pull it will damage the frame and the wood where it is attached.  It does not appear to be spring loaded and there is no way to access the clips if there are any.  Thanks.

    There are two spring loaded knobs on the left and right sides. The grill is separate from the wood frame. Grab a couple slats on one side (top and bottom) and pull toward you and it will pop off.

    YYRC, I tried that, the left side moves a little but the right side is stuck.  See pic.  Plus there is no access from under the bed.  Mystery.

    No sorry don’t pry the wood!! Pull the metal fins.

    Thanks YYZRC, you are a life saver.  I was getting ready to destroy it if necessary to get at the filter.  Another job done, time to relax.  Thanks.

    Don’t forget about the other AC intake on the starboard side of the island bed.
