Anchor Locker Gas Spring Mod

I added a gas spring to the anchor locker lid on my 2008 350. This will work on the 2008+ 330/340/350/360 and 370ex. Maybe on other models, too. 

I mounted a 17” gas spring 28# as shown in the pics. Not much to explain as the install is straight forward. About $30 in total for the gas spring (Amazon) and the 10mm stainless ball mounts (I used Sierra brand).
