I did. There are actually several folks here that have. As to where we got the dash panel. They are all custom made. I purchased the blank from amazon. Made a template and then cut it out.
@slangley welcome to the forum. Most people who converted to a digital helm have used custom panels. To my knowledge, nobody sells upgrade panels. Search the forum and you'll find several examples. I used black StarBoard for mine.
I am currently working a template for my 360, switching from VV to twin Simrads. I have a laser cutter and plan to cut it from black Acrylic. Still finalizing my vector file from the template. I tested laser cutting on a few pieces of starboard, but melts too easy.
I have a 2003 342 with one original 6.2 and one brand new Mercruiser 6.2. I purchased the Garmin 24HD radar and the GPSMAP 942. I would like to switch to all digital gauges including fuel flow, trim, rpms, sync, temp, oil pressure, autohelm and even the trim tabs if possible. Was going to mount the GPSMAP to the left of the wheel, the autohelm where the old Lowrance GPS was and then some other panel in place of the Farah gauges. Any thoughts on this project?
