270 front connector issues

270 owners.  Do you have issues with zipping up the front connector window?  The walk thru glass portion?  I have replaced the connector 2 times and each time the center window is super tight to zip and it eventually damages the eisenglass zipper assembly.  Same thing just happened again this season?  I already sewed one side but because of how tight it is...I'll never be able to zip it.

    @skennelly , you can put on a zipper extender to fix that issue.

    @aero3113 - I'm not sure that I can.  The zippers don't have a start position like a regular zipper....so no way to zip on an extender.

    @aero3113 - maybe if I add an extender to the curtain windows that connect to the connector?  That would give me some more slack.

    The vinyl windows inherently shrink with the sun. Many blame the canvas and sure it shrinks some but its the windows that really shrink. Have you been conditioning the windows once or twice a year, that usually helps give them some give. Unfortunately though you probably have to either use the extenders or get a canvas shop to use sunbrella to extend it a little. Wouldnt be that expensive to have that done.
