Plumbing advice RE:adapter for incompatible faucet hose?

Seems my easy sink faucet project is turning into a bit of a hassle. 

Here's the faucet I bought.

The lines that came with it are much smaller than the boat connections... and as far as those two little adapters in this picture - they were not in the box.


The hose connection on the new lines need to be 5/8ths of an inch and male.. I have found plenty of adapters with this size..what I I can't seem to find is one with the other side being 7/8ths and male, meaning I measure the old hose connection and it's 7/8ths of an inch and male. 

I see lots of "for 1/2 inch line" adapters..which I think our boats are.. has anyone been through this and maybe have a connector like this? 

I may just order another one and see if those adapters come with it this time.. have been to two hardware stores and they are stumped. The RV store here doesn't open on the weekends..

    Rinker used Flair-It fittings on their pex. You could throw a new end on the line since it’s 1/2” pex.

    You could get a 1/2” pex straight ball valve to the size on the sink line. Should be a common size. Possibly this…

    Went back to the Hardware store from last weekend, got a more experienced guy who had to move a few things but found the part that was needed. This was it.

     
    Both sides had to be male.

    About 15 mins later the problem is fixed, no leaking (yet)..and we're back in action.



    Of course with one problem fixed, another starts. Any idea what to do about the problem around the drain there? Do they sell just that part?

    Yes, the sink strainer should readily available.  Try your local plumbing supply place or if it's an oddball size, try an RV place (as shown). 
    Good,  fast,  cheap.... pick two.

    Found these stainless strainers at a tjmaxx. Fit perfect and don’t move around. Sorry I’m didn’t take photo of manufacturer

    Look for a bar sink strainer. That should be the size.
