    This is the first day of "winter" to come through central FL...it has been awesome weather after getting our butt kicked around the state. Overcast, and I don't think it hit 70 today!

    Screw winter.  At least the pens are on a roll as of late.  


    There's a chance of snow this Christmas. I've never seen snow on Christmas. Obviously it's not going to be unseasonably warm this year.  I did some home renovations and that included about a dozen new palm trees.  What's the fun of planting new palms if you don't freeze a few to death?

    Looks like it's time to break out the socks for flip flops!! Going to be real cold on Christmas day in the South. I'm hoping to get hit by a Nor'easter up in NY!!

    Unseasonably warm here, many days barely below freezing. Winter sucks but at least with good ice I can go ice fishing. This year it might be just cold enough to suck but not cold enough for good ice. 😒

    At least up north typically you have something to do in the winter in Florida you just trying to do the same thing to do in the summer but it's just too cold to go do it

    As I was preflighting and the inside of my nose is frozen as it's -17 Celsius I thought of this post. The answer is no it's not summer yet 🥶 😂

    Wow, that's some serious wind without the cold and snow. ND would be like that. Flatter than pee on a plate so when those monster fronts came through...tornadoes in the summer were exciting too...

    Can't imagine what the up north members have experienced these last few days. If not directly certainly those in their circles. I'm waiting for 50 degrees so I can finish some painting. 50 or so around the Buffalo area passed? We are slowing looking for summertime this year...awful and our prayers are out there.

    Our average temperature here is 50 degrees this time of year.   Was 17 last night and single digits the night before.   First time I've ever heard of rolling blackouts in my area.

    Pretty sure my Washingtonia palms and sagos are gone.
