Ameritex part numbers

Here is a list of Ameritex part numbers that I have gotten so far. Can't verify years of boats, but it's a start. I would rather order from TJ or Darren, but Ameritex isn't open to dealers yet. Hopefully that will change in the not to distant future. I keep pushing my contact at Lippert, Ameritex's parent, to open it up.

Interesting, I thought I'd see what a quote was for the back canvas for the 400.  I got a reply back that the P/Ns don't match a "laser engraved black tag".

I hear that Kathy at Ameritex is being a PITA lately. She told someone that his numbers were correct, but since the boat was beyond 10 years old they couldn't make them and guarantee fitment. It was a 2007 246, which we all know didn't change for the 10+ years that it was in production. Frustrating to say the least.

The side curtains that I ordered from Ameritex for my 330 didn’t fit properly. I had to have a local shop remake them. Everything else was perfect.

They’re not great a great company to deal with but they’re cheaper than custom.

I have been hearing that Kathy is now stating that they won't make anything older than 10 years. When I order, I am going to give her a date code within that timeframe.

@Cableguy Greg  I don’t know why you are pursuing Ameritex. They are not a customer-centric business (at any price). I totally get that it is hard to find a local canvas shop, but the extra effort to find one will reap huge rewards in terms of fitment and customizability - for only slightly more money.

Ameritex/Taylor Made does not give a **** about you or your money. They have enough business from OEMs to keep them busy. They should stop offering their products to boat owners direct IMO.

@YYZRC I had a lot of time invested in getting Ameritex to start offering canvas to anyone. Their parent, Lippert, didn’t even know that they weren’t offering replacement canvas. All I am doing here is providing part numbers and information to others in the event that they want to order. I could give two sh!t$ less if anyone orders from them. That being said, f it, I won’t update the thread anymore with part numbers. I got the numbers that I need for my application. I know that Ray was able to get his in a short amount of time. Good to know that my input isn’t welcome.

I think this is useful and many folks will welcome your help here Greg. I’m sure it’s true that Ameritex may not “want” boat owner business but you’re doing this for the members, not for Ameritex. Many folks here don’t have local shop options and many local shops are super expensive with multi year lead times, also nice to be able to just get a couple pieces from Ameritex. Up to you, but I think most folks appreciate and welcome your efforts.

@Cableguy Greg  Your input is always welcome.  The reason this site is so great is that members like you are constantly sharing very valuable information.  I was able to successfully get 2 replacement tops and canvas from Ameritex and I'll post part numbers to add to your listing shortly.

    Thank you very much.

I also think going thru Ameritex is good if you need to only replace a piece or two.  That was what I was attempting many years ago.  I'm now at the point I am replacing the entire back, so I was able to use a local shop and it ended up being cheaper.  I'm sure other members find this information useful.
