Battery Box Setting With Shore Power

 When Im plugged into shore power at the marina , what setting do I have put the battery box to when the boat is not in use ???  (options are Both / Off / Batt 1 / Batt 2  ?????

Does it matter which setting its at?

I dont run a fridge, just want to keep the batterys charged but DONT want to over charge or mess something up
I am a new boater with my first boat,  thats why some of my questions seem dumb

    picturethis,

    Doesn't matter. The charger will charge all the batteries regardless of the battery switch position.
