Electronic LED distress (SOS) lights: Don't forget the batteries

Public Service Announcement:  If you've added an electronic LED distress (SOS) light to your safety kit, don't forget to check the batteries during spring commissioning.  Some models require fresh batteries annually.

Mine takes three C cells.  I realized today that I've never changed them.

I also use a Sharpie to write the install date on them so I remember when they've been changed, but it's usually each spring.

Mine take C too. I keep a second set of batteries in the same bag as the device.
